Built on the Sitecore XM Cloud Platform

The new Myson UK website was developed on the Sitecore XM Cloud platform, showcasing the power and flexibility of this leading-edge digital experience platform. As an official Sitecore development partner, WebService leveraged Sitecore’s robust features to deliver a scalable, high-performance solution tailored to the needs of the Myson brand and its customers.

All Products Information – ETIM International Classification

A standout feature of the new Myson UK website is its seamless integration of product data with the industry-standard ETIM International technical product classification. As part of the Purmo Group’s commitment to industry best practices, we adopted the ETIM classification systemat the website architecture level. Now, all product information within our Product Information Management (PIM) system is structured according to ETIM’s dynamic specification standards.

Our website is fully synchronized with the PIM system, ensuring real-time updates and consistency across all product specifications. This integration enables all product parameters and values to be continuously updated with the most accurate, original data.

Considering that many Purmo Group products consist of hundreds or even thousands of individual items, each with its own unique specifications, the new Myson UK website provides an unparalleled user experience. Customers can now drill down into the detailed specification of individual items, setting Myson UK apart as a unique heating solutions brand offering this level of precision and transparency directly on its website.

Advanced product items filtering

Building on the ETIM integration, we have developed advanced filtering and item selection capabilities that empower users to efficiently narrow down product options based on specific ranges or individual values for standardized heating product parameters. For example, flat panel radiators are defined by 56 unique attributes, and users can now apply precise filters to select products by either specific values or ranges for these parameters.

This dynamic filtering system ensures that users are presented with pre-filtered product lists, consisting only of items that meet the exact specifications required by heating system specifiers or installers. This functionality is especially beneficial for professionals looking to streamline the product selection process and find the most suitable solutions with minimal effort.

The filtering and item selection interface has been designed with an intuitive, e-commerce-style approach. This ensures that users can easily navigate and utilize these features without requiring additional training or a steep learning curve, making the experience both efficient and user-friendly.

Results exported for further processing

Once users have filtered specific items from extensive product ranges, what’s next? We recognize that heating system specifiers and installers often need this data for further processing in their own projects—whether for creating detailed heating system specifications or other professional use cases that require the pre-filtered product data.

To facilitate this, the filtered results can be effortlessly downloaded as a CSV file, containing either all or a selection of the items. This format ensures compatibility with any spreadsheet software, allowing users to easily integrate the data into their workflow of purchase order request, or inclusion in larger project specifications.

Advanced Product Calculators

As another advanced feature utilizing the ETIM based PIM system integration we have created the advanced product calculators based on unique formulas for each and every radiator type category allowing users to calculate the items that meet the certain performance requirements for specific spaces or rooms of customer houses or buildings.

Similar to product filtering also here users can export selected results data into CSV files for further processing.

"Declaration of Performance" documents

Another highly valuable feature is the ability to generate individual “Declaration of Performance” (DoP) documents for each specific product item. For Purmo Group customers, these documents are a formal requirement whenever a radiator is installed in a heating system project delivered to any public institution within the European Union or United Kingdom.

Previously, Purmo Group’s customer service teams had to manually gather and compile PDF files for each item in the specification, ensuring that every product was accompanied by its unique performance declaration. This process has now been significantly streamlined. Users can pre-select the required items and directly generate and download the corresponding DoP documents from the website, saving time and reducing manual effort for both customers and support teams.
